ambassador’s real-life residence

Embassy (in Nine Elms) that opened in 2018. Britain allowed filming inside the Foreign Secretary’s office, an honor rarely granted for a film or movie production, especially an American one. The only unavailable location was Winfield House, the U.S.

Although it’s accurately described as occupying the largest residential plot (11 acres) in London outside of Buckingham Palace, producers used a country house outside the city for filming purposes. The Diplomat has everything you could want from a good show... it has comedy, drama, great acting, great storyline, etc.

I loved this show so much that I watched all eight episodes in one weekend

The show is about a diplomat (Keri Russell) who gets a new job as ambassador to the United Kingdom after an international crisis occurs when an aircraft carrier is attacked. She also has to deal with her husband (Rufus Sewell) who is already a political star and their unstable marriage. It did so well and was so well received that it has already been renewed for another season.

I am really looking forward to watching it and seeing where this show goes from here
