It follows a group of military superhumans consisting of a human leader, a werewolf, a vampire, Frankenstein's monster, and a gorgon. Gunn then greenlit the project when he became the CEO of DC Studios.

The cast is great, it's fun to watch from start to finish, a great start to the DCU, I can't wait for the Superman movie. When I heard they were rebooting the entire DCU I had my doubts but when James Gun's name was mentioned in the head seat I was relieved and I have faith in Gun's direction and know he will make the DC brand shine, I would recommend you guys watch Creature Commandos because it is the beginning of the new DC universe and I can't wait for more to come, James Gun is the right man for the job.
