Similar plot, acting and humor style

I am in episode 4 and so far I like Dead to Me better.No good deed has Ray Romano whom I loved in everybody loves Raymond.

I don't know if it's the script, or what, but it seems he has lost some of his luster from the days of everybody loves Raymond

Still he is very enjoyable.The characters are diverse, reflecting different side of society and the plot is creative and amusing and at some point one relates to any of the situations that occurs in the series..
