The cast of "Shrinking" share the biggest moments that defined their characters in Season 1 and reveal who the best Harrison Ford impersonator is. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel and Bill Lawrence asked how they got Harrison Ford on the show, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted a "Harrison Ford type" and planned to interview people who looked like Ford. Segel told Goldstein that they should at least pitch it to Ford first, thinking he would reject it outright, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford was involved in the project, which sparked interest from other famous actors.
The acting was amazing
Goldstein eventually spoke with Ford and convinced him to take the role. Goldstein still doesn't understand what he did to convince her, but he was very happy nonetheless. Featured on WatchMojo: The 10 Best TV Shows of 2023 (So Far) (2023). It was a solid production and a very unique storyline.
Is it perfect?
I love how each character embraces their flaws, shows vulnerability, and uses humor to grow spiritually. Shrinking has a lot of heartfelt, awkward, slightly funny, sweet, and laugh-out-loud moments. I hope they keep producing more seasons because the character development deserves it. NO.
But neither of us are
I think the overuse of profanity takes away from the overall power potential here. It's almost as if the writers are forcing the show to be bold. Personally, I don't think it needs to be. That's why I gave it an 8.
