Manhattan dentist Peter Pearce (Griffin Dunne) is in the midst of a midlife crisis after his wife (Rosanna Arquette), to whom he was married for 35 years, leaves him. He spontaneously books a trip to Tulum, Mexico, but crashes his son's bachelor party.
